To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

I am always amused by the modern day politicians who believe that Thomas Jefferson would be on their side. Do you remember what he wrote about tyrants… in the Declaration of Independence? If not, you might want to go back and re-read that document.

Thomas Jefferson was right when he wrote the above quote about sinful and tyrannical leaders, and he is still right today. The Apostles had a similar quote 1750 years before Thomas Jefferson came along:

Peter and John replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God”. Acts 4:19, NIV

Please continue to keep Hobby Lobby in your prayers as their case to have the right not to furnish funds for abortion is currently being decided by the United States Supreme Court.

In case you have any doubt, this matter has long ago been decided by the true Supreme Court, and to decide against God’s commands is the essence of sinful and tyrannical behavior.
