When is Enough, Enough?
50,189,209: Number of people living in America as of June 1, 1880 census
54,000,000: Number of people never allowed to live in America since abortion was legalized in 1973
When is enough, enough? It is startling to me to know that we have murdered 3,810,791 more babies in America since 1973 than the total population of America in 1880... but we have.
What if it were your baby? I don't mean what if you had an abortion, I mean what if somebody took your living child and killed it before your very eyes - would that make you angry?
Teagan, is my two year-old grandson. I love Teagan! When we see each other, I yell, "TEAGANNNNNNN!", and Teagn looks at me and yells, "POPPPPPPPPPPPS". If someone were to take this precious grandchild of mine and brutally murder him, I don't know what I would do - but I can tell you how I would feel. I would be crushed with grief. I would be outraged. I would want justice.
Did you know that God "knits" our babies in the womb? Don't take my word for it, get out your Bible and look it up. Did you further know that God loves our babies? How do you think He feels when we terminate His children in the womb? How do you think He feels about a nation that would casually dispose of 54,000,000 of His children that He is knitting together in the one place that should be safer for a child than all other places?
Do you ever wonder... when He will say that enough is enough?
Did you know that He so loved the world that He allowed His Son to die for our sins? Did you know that this includes all of the mothers, and fathers, and doctors, and politicians, and voters who have supported this vile policy of mass murder that has blighted America since 1973?
Did you know that God will forgive even this sin... if we will repent of it?
My prayer for quite some time now has been that legalized abortion will end during my lifetime. I want to see it! I want to know that we as a nation have finally decided that enough is enough. I pray that those who have taken part in this wickedness will repent and ask for God's forgiveness. I pray that so that our babies will have the same chance that Teagan has - that you and I have - and so that all of those who have struggled with what they have done may finally know the peace that can only come to those who are truly forgiven.
Have you had enough, yet? Won't you join me in this prayer for an end to America's greatest shame? Wouldn't you agree... that 54,000,000 innocent lives lost is more than enough?
As you do not know how the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.
Thou did'st knit me together in my mother's womb.
